holder to stay for a short period of time for sightseeing, recreation, sports, visiting relatives, observing, participating in courses or meetings, business contacts, or other similar activities. In the 2000s, there were many entries from the U.K., but since 2008, Thailand has increased its numbers, and in the 2010s, the situation has reversed.
